My story
I’m originally from Belgium, but I found my way to Sweden after spending a year living and travelling through Europe in a campervan. Along the journey I discovered many beautiful places, but Sweden instantly felt like home. The quiet forests, endless nature and slower rhythm of life drew me in right away. Here it’s still possible to wander through nature without seeing another person, to find a small beach all to yourself, or to swim in a lake with your dogs on a summer evening. That sense of calm and space is something I value deeply.
Photography has been a passion of mine for many years and slowly grew into something more. Being behind the camera gives me energy and joy. Rather than simply documenting what I see, I try to capture the atmosphere of a places: the small details, the light, and the feeling that makes a moment memorable. I don’t have one specific subject I love most; I enjoy photographing cabins, landscapes, animals and people alike. What matters most to me is telling a story and creating images that inspire others to step outside, explore and experience these places for themselves.

Northern Stories grew naturally from my love for nature, storytelling and a slower way of living. Alongside photography,
I also created a small countryside cabin here in Dalarna, a cosy place designed for people to slow down and disconnect from the busy world. The cabin is simple and intentionally free from distractions like television, inviting guests to spend their time walking in the forest, swimming in nearby lakes or simply enjoying the quiet.
Through Northern Stories I share and capture moments of quiet beauty in the Swedish countryside. Stories shaped by forests, seasons, animals and life lived a little slower.
During the winter months I work as a sled dog guide for the family company Below Zero Husky Tours. Spending my days outdoors together with the huskies and guests from all over the world feels like a true privilege. In summer I return as a guide for husky hikes. Working with these incredible dogs and being surrounded by nature every day constantly reminds me why I chose this life.
